I'd been following developments in quantum computing for a while and reached the point where I wanted a more structured way to learn about it. There was no shortage of articles, videos and online content, but I wanted a course that would give me a solid grounding in the fundamentals. The micro-credential was a good fit because it combined academic rigour with the flexibility to study alongside a full-time job. The course was well structured and struck a good balance between theory and practical application. It was challenging enough to build a solid understanding of the subject while remaining manageable alongside a full-time role. Completing the micro-credential showed me that it was realistic to undertake a longer programme of postgraduate study while working full-time.
